American Legion Post 305 History

Post 305 received its charter in 1989, having been formed by a group of veterans residing in the area. Membership has grown to approximately 400, with signs of strong continued growth. Post 305 achieved it membership goal for 2007, and was recognized by the Department of Texas for reaching "All Time High" membership for the sixth straight year. We typically have 25 to 30 members at each monthly meeting. Post members have served in both American Legion District and Division leadership positions and are also active in community affairs.
